What a great way to live in understanding that the best of us in life is expressed when we show consideration to others, visible in the way and manner we interact with people around us. Life is always good when it transcends from oneself to living for the good of others. Life is not beautiful when it is only self-seeking and self-directed

We become better in our conscious living when we work for the good of others and understand that our existence is meaningfully tailored towards making others have a better life. A life lived for the good of others can never but be a fulfilling one. That is really what determines the beauty of life and its outcome will always be positive. It is very indisputable that the ugliest personality trait is selfishness. Selfishness distracts an individual from enjoying the greatest joy of life which can be experienced in Giving or sharing one’s time, talents and treasures with others for their true growth. In the words of Winston Churchhill, we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. God never created us in His own image or likeness to just be self-seeking and solely self-centered.

Fighting self-centeredness in any form it rears its destructive head in our lives is an imperative for any soul journeying towards a beautiful life. Living for the good of others does not imply neglect of self-care or loving oneself in a befitting manner, but it embraces true love for oneself as one discovers the reality of true self love in the context of positive social interactions and transcendence of self to growing to add values to others.

We truly live when our actions reveal our love for others and ever disposed to become a blessing for others in our consciousness to offer a helping and supporting presence in the lives of others. We count our blessings by the recipients of our kind and loving gestures not based on exploitative interaction with others for the sake of one’s self-seeking agenda. A positive gesture towards others in thoughts, words and actions will always yield a positive outcome in oneself and others.

We are vital instruments of God’s love for others and our encounter with people should always make us understand our worth in the manner we treat them with kindness and positive consideration. The joy we bring to others through our sense of goodness will always come down to us as a positive energy flowing mutually between two parties: the giver and the receiver of joy.  The very fact of existence with other people demands from us the goodwill to show true love to others and relate with others with sense of kindness and to be ever available to offer a helping hand to whoever needs it.

Living for the good of others will never make us lose the joy of life. Let us be credible ambassadors of God’s love in the lives of those we encounter daily.  Love remains the most powerful force on earth and when we relate with others with true sense of love evident in kindness, we remain very powerful and amazing. Beloved, let us love, for God is love and one who does not love, has no God.
