Alleluia: our focus on the order of creation

Hallelujah translates to Praise the Lord! From its Hebrew root to English Language. Praising the Lord is fitting to be the nature of all creatures to their loving creator who bestows life unto them as He bestows existence into their being and makes all things well ordered for sustainability of all creatures in the universe. The whole cosmos or the universe with all that exists within it, has its origination from God. Truly appreciating the order of things, the true response to perfect creator is to positively react and rejoice in praise and deep sense of thanksgiving.

The order of creation on its own with all its incomprehensible beauty and pristine excellence cannot but spur us into deep praise to the author of this wonderful gift of our universe. The sense of urgency and importance in praise to God should even make humans to invite all other creatures to join us in the disposition of praise. We see this in the canticle of Daniel: Bless the Lord, you heavens, sing praise to him and highly exalt him forever. Cf. Daniel 3:57-58.

The order of creation and existence of realities on its own spurs and motivates us to unceasingly to keep praising God who has bestowed us with the gift of creation as a a priceless treasure expressing His endless and providential love to us in a way we cannot fathom. Who are we to be given the gift of existence and have all these realities as gifts unto us for our happiness and sustainability of our existence? The psalmist expresses this thus:

O Lord, our God! How majestic is your name in all its earth: who has displayed your splendor above the heavens! When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers- the moon and the stars! Which you have ordained: what is man that you take thought of him and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than God and you crown him with glory and majesty. You make him rule over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet. Psalms 8:1-6.

Our perception of the order of creation and the pristine beauty of the universe and all the realities in existence should make us remain in deep praise to God the author of all that is always good, we acclaim in a loud voice- ALLELUYA! Praise the Lord.

For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies, for the love which from our birth, over and around us lies. Christ, our Lord, to you we raise, this our hymn of grateful praise (A music by Folliott Sandford Pierpoint)
